About this event!
What began as a grassroots street party hosted by local residents and families that has now evolved into BWG’s biggest community-building event of the year—The RETRO Festival. With the opening of the new Town Square, a $3.3 million community space funded through developer charges and supported by Council, the event now has a permanent home where residents from across the town can come together to celebrate in true retro style.
Who can buy tickets
Now open to all Bradford West Gwillimbury residents and people who want to visit Bradford, the RETRO BLOCK PARTY continues to grow in impact and reach.
How much are tickets?
100% of ticket sales this year go directly to Bradford's Legion and to both Bradford High Schools to fund their music programs. Over the past four years, the event has raised more than $40,000 over the years to support local families in need. All we ask is "Pay what you can".
Community and Team Work!
This event has grown significantly because of our team of amazing vendors, sponsors and volunteers. So many people and businesses have asked to join this event and we have jammed packed this event from start to finish.
Pay what you can for Tickets - For a Good Cause:
For 2026, the Retro Festival is proud to support two important local community initiatives. We are helping fund a new stove for the Bradford Legion to support the veterans, members, and guests they serve, while also partnering with The 9th Line to donate to both Bradford high school music programs to help keep music alive through quality instrument investments for future generations of students.

Love for Where We Live
Since moving to Bradford, my family and I have embraced the small-town charm, warmth, and neighbourly spirit that remind me of where I grew up in the early ’80s. Whether it’s a wave on the street or a smile in the grocery store, Bradford is our home.
Even before I was on council, I worked to bring our community together—and that mission hasn’t changed. As your neighbour I'm always committed to celebrating the love we share for our neighbours, town, friends, and families. I’m especially proud to host this 4th annual event in our new Town Square—a project I’ve championed with town staff since day one.
It’s a joy to now share this event with the entire community and bring us all together.

Experience the fun of Community Building!
